Cyproheptadine + Tricholine Citrate + Sorbitol is a combination of three medicines and is used as an appetite stimulant.
Cyproheptadine specially is an appetite-stimulant. It reduces the effect of a chemical messenger in the hypothalamus, a part of the brain which regulates appetite. Tricholine citrate is a bile acid binding agent which removes bile acids from the body. The liver then produces more bile acids using cholesterol and as a result the cholesterol level is lowered. Sorbitol acts as a syrup base and as an laxative to relieve constipation.
